Product Review: NP-BN1 Battery Charger for Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W330 from Amazon

Brand: Progo
Item:
NP-BN1 Battery Charger for SONY DSC-W330
Seller: YoKool on Amazon
Price: $4.00 & $0.99 Shipping

On December 25th, I ordered the NP-BN1 Battery Charger for Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W330 from Amazon. I bought the one sold by YoKool. My brother lost the original charger, and has been using a different one. The one he is using is too large for his battery, and he usually ends up sticking something in it so it will charge.

The charger arrived yesterday, and it came with a car charger. The battery fits perfectly, and it doesn't take long to charge. I am very happy with this product. Overall rating 5 out of 5.

Recipe: Easy Quesadillas

This is a very simple recipe for Quesadillas. They only take a few minutes, so you can add just about anything you want to them.

Ingredients:

Tortillas (2 for each Quesadilla)
Cheese: Shredded Sharp Cheddar and Shredded 4 Cheese Mexican
Pre-Cooked Meat: Chicken, Steak, Fish, Lobster, or Veggies (cut into bit sized pieces)
Chipotle Mayo
Black Olives
Jalapenos (Optional)

Toppings:

Sour Cream
Salsa

Directions:

1. Place 1 Tortilla in the pan, on the grill, or on the press.
2. Spread some Chipotle Mayo on the Tortilla
3. Add desired Meat or Veggies
4. Add the Black Olives and Jalapenos
5. Add a generous amount of Sharp Shredded Cheese and the Shredded 4 Cheese Mexican
6. Place the other Tortilla on top.
7. Cook until the bottom Tortilla is crispy, flip, and repeat for other tortilla

If you are using a Panini Press, or a Grill with Top and Bottom grills, close the lid, and leave for about 5-6 minutes. Or until desired crispiness.

8. Spread some Sour Cream, Salsa, or other Topping on the Quesadilla.
9. Cut into sections, and enjoy ^^

You can cut down the serving time, if you buy Prepacked Meats that are already cooked, or if you buy a Rotisserie Chicken.

I hope you like this recipe. I know my brother loves them.

BzzAgent Review: Private Selection Frozen Foods

I am a BzzAgent, and have received free samples and coupons from them to review these products. For more information on who BzzAgents are, or if you want to become one please visit BzzAgent.

Today I will be reviewing the Private Selection Frozen Foods from Kroger.

My family and I have been shopping at Kroger's for many years. We like the private selection brand, and usually get the deli meats and cheeses, baked goods, or the ice cream. If you haven't tried their ice creams yet, I highly recommend it. They are packed with flavor, and are extremely creamy. My favorite flavors are black raspberry chocolate chunk and the banana cream pie. Soooo good! I could use a bowl right now.

For this campaign I tried the BBQ Chicken Pizza, Southwestern Style Chicken Trumpets, and the Belgian Chocolate Lava Cakes.

BBQ Chicken Pizza: The pizza was really tasty. The BBQ Sauce was just right. There was a good amount of chicken, toppings, and cheese. I baked it on the oven rack. I usually don't cook frozen pizza on a tray or pizza stone. It comes out perfectly that way, and you don't have to spend money on another kitchen utensil that just takes up space and collects dust. Always note when cooking something, it usually never takes as long as it says. My oven tends to cook things a lot faster than the directions. I left the pizza in for about 6 minutes and it came out perfect. The crust was just crispy enough and the cheese was nice and melted. I do wish that the pizza was larger. It's not as big as some of the other frozen pizzas out that and costs the same. I would definitely try the other flavors. Overall I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

Southwestern Style Chicken Trumpets: These were okay. Out of all the appetizer flavors I wanted to try these the most. They come 9 to a package, so I thought that would be enough for a few people. The trumpets look to be a nice size, but they lack filling. Most of the trumpet is just a tortilla. I ended up adding sour cream and olives to mine, and some of my family put some salsa on theirs. These would be worth the price, if there was more filling. I don't think I would but these again. I would rather make my own, since it would cost about the same. Next time I will try the Spanakopita. Overall I give it a 2.5 out of 5.

Belgian Chocolate Lava Cakes: My family and I LOVED these!! They come 4 to a pack, and are a decent size serving. All you do is microwave them for a few seconds and they get really gooey in the center. The cakes are really chocolaty and moist. I put some whip cream on mine, and it tasted amazing. I even saved the little containers they came in for serving other desserts. If they had other varieties of this I would definitely try them. If I get them again, I would add some berries or other fruit to it. The cakes are a decent price for something this tasty. Overall I give it a 5 out of 5.

So that concludes my review of the Private Selection Frozen Foods from Kroger. I will continue to shop at Kroger's and buy the Private Selection brand. I hope you do the same. <3

Jewelry Review: The Key to Happiness from Amazon

Item: The Key to Happiness
Brand: Creative Venture Jewelry
Seller: My Jewel Thief, Inc on Amazon
Size: 2"
Chain: 18"
Price: $9.89 + $0 Shipping

On December 20th I placed an order on Amazon for the Key to Happiness. I bought the item from My Jewel Thief, Inc. It arrived in the mail on the 22nd. The key came in this neat box, with a little message card. It was just a bit smaller than I thought, but still a good size. The key is very detailed and the crystal is nice and clear. I love that the key is actually 3D. Most of the keys that I have been researching were flat on the back side. The only thing I don't like about it is the chain. It's really shiny and looked nice in the box, but when I took it out I noticed a few things wrong with it. It felt weird in my hand. You could tell it was cheaply made, and there are black tarnish spots on it. I would have warn it if the tarnish spots weren't there. I ended up putting the key on a different chain. I love wearing it. =^_^= I have received a few compliments, and have been wearing it since it came in the mail.

I also ordered Yu Yu Hakusho: Season Three and The Forbidden Kingdom on the same day. Both arrived on Friday and are in perfect condition.

My new blog!

So I decided to create a new blog, since I did not like the features on my old one. This site seems to be better and a LOT easier to use. I can't wait to start meeting new friends and posting lots of awesome stuff. =]

A bit about me: My name is Katie, and I live in Michigan. Maybe one day I will move someplace else, but for now it's all right. I am really into Asian Cultures and one day want to open my own Asian media store. I just don't know where to put it. LOL. I have been listening to Asian music for about 15 years now. Before then I was really into anime and video games. I am always looking for new artists or songs to get addicted to, so if you think I might like something let me know. I love anything from Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Even some stuff from Thailand. My favorite Asian artists are: the GazettE, Dir en Grey, LM.C, D'espairs Ray, Gackt, Shinhwa, Se7en, Uhm Jung Hwa, Koyote, Dong Bong Shin Ki, Coco Lee, 183 Club, and many, many, many more.

I am absolutely addicted to Asian dramas. Mostly Korean and Taiwanese ones. Anything with 183 Club, Kim Sun Ah, Jung Da Bin, Hyun Bin, Oh Ji Ho, or Lee Wan, and I will watch it. Probably more than 5 times. XD

As for movies, I will pretty much watch anything. Even if the movie is epic fail I must watch the end. It just drives me nuts to not know how something ends. My favorite genres are Action, Martial Arts, Comedy, Foreign, Classics, Teen, Animation, Disney, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Bollywood, and Horror. Even though I consider Horror movies Comedies, since they make me laugh. Some of the movies I enjoy are: Labyrinth, She's On Duty, Paul, The Green Hornet, Harry Potter, Fist of Legend, Red Sonja, Beauty Shop, Knocked Up, Shaun of the Dead, and Mulan.

Video Games are another passion of mine. I have been playing them since my 5 year old brother and my 8 year old self figured out how to connect our Nintendo to the TV. Ever since then, we have held many a tournament in our living room. Some even resulting in actual Mortal Kombat live action tournaments. LOL. I love these genres: RPG, MMORPG, Fighting, Adventure, Platform, Puzzle, Racing, Sport, and even Flash App stuff. The titles that I play over and over are: Final Fantasy, Mario, Sonic, Legend of Dragon, Thousand Arms, Discworld, Dynasty Warriors, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, and Tetris.

I am an avid reader. I have been known to read up to 2 novels a day. I read extremely fast. Lately I have been going through the entire Young Adult section at my local library. I am really into reading Faerie, Witch, Wizard, Magic, Sci-Fi, and any other related subject. Recommended series: The Faerie Path, Warrior Princess, Magic in Manhattan, Once A Witch, The Faery Rebels, Theatre Illuminata, Wings, The Tree Shepherd's Daughter, and of course the classics like Dragonlance, Magic the Gathering, Discworld, and The Dragonriders of Pern.

Another thing I am into is BzzAgent, Mypoints, Surveys, and Contests. I will be doing a lot of BzzAgent reviews on here. If you don't know what a BzzAgent is, I will tell you. It's a company that sends out products for users to try and you report back on the product. It's a Word of Mouth based system. You try the product and tell as many people about it as possible. So be on the lookout for product reviews and possible coupons to use. =]

Currently, I am into volunteering and working with people with mental illness. I would like to start several groups online and in real life for this kind of thing. I want all of those that have gone through, or are currently going through issues to know that things will eventually get better, so never give up. And that you are worth it. My favorite new affirmation is "You are a treasure waiting to be found!" Keep telling yourself that. <3

Well, that's it for this post. I hope you enjoyed reading what I had to say. Looking forward to posting more entries soon.
